This could be considered modern simply based on the fact that there is block tatting involved; a modern technique (among others that are in the design). It's also a lovely abstract looking design. It's interesting to see what everyone sees in it.
I agree with TattingChic, blocs make it modern. For me, I see angels holding hands with one another... and I love those hexagons!Your books are quite interesting too, because they activate the creation side of tatters, which is quite important!Thanks to you (and others) tatting revives and we ought to be all grateful!
