
This is one earring of the second pair of earrings I designed for my friend Azzurra, with the beads she gave me.
I worked very hard to find a satisfying solution for the read irregular coral beads.
But I think she will like this!
Some technical information: As we are working with thread and this is not stiff, I needed some technique to make it stay. So I used a bit thicker wire, which I took double around, and knottet around it to create
the inner ring of the outer round. So this holds good.
The
inner ring is surrounded by a maltese ring, whereby the inner beads are the center ring of the maltese ring. This holds good.
The
upper piece with the earring finding is also partially worked on the same wire, but not taken double. Here the wire goes from the side through the red beads and the to the other side.
