flowers on the t-shirt

Today, instead of cleaning and tidying up my appartment, which is in a desperate state, I played around, tatting, surfing in the internet, playing the piano and the guitar. But fortunately time was not wasted totally, because my brain cell no.3 gave me an idea. I played around with pattern Stella of my new book "Fantasia 3". First I tried to make a necklace, but putting the bead in the middle of this flower was too time consuming and I liked more the long picots I put between the ds of the middle ring. Then I thought is would be nice on a t-shirt, but it rounded too much, so I cut open the joining on the second petal and now I can round it the way I like. Perhaps I will buy some t-shirts for the children and put it on, I'm sure the girls will like it.

Gosh, but you are talented! That tatting is just lovely!! You have a very marvellous way of putting colours together. You are courageous, and it pays off!
I am curious, though...I have wanted to do that too, I mean, the pattern I was working was just 'too curved' and I realized that cutting one of the connecting picots between each medallion would solve my troubles...
So...did you tat an all-new series of medallions where you connected only once, or did you somehow repair the original tatting after cutting those little connecting picots??
I really wouldn't put it past you to have some wonderful cure for a snipped picot...LOL! Great blog...

SO you have a brain cell 3 too!!!!! Yours is working much better than mine at the moment!!!! Please can your brain cell 3 come and wake up mine?

Dear Leanna,
When I snip the picot, I start the whole thing again, because unfortunately there is no other cure for it! This edging is made in one row and the flower is made with the daisy picot technique.

This is another beautiful design of yours. I'm sure any of the girls would love to have it on their t-shirts. Just goes to show when one thing doesn't work it WILL work some other place.
