sixstar with rose center

Now stitch count of joining motif is perfectionated. I put the rose in the center of the hexagon, because I liked that more. If somebody of you wants to try it out, let me know. This time I worked with cotton thread AIDA 20. The size comes out the same, as worked with the wool.

Wow! Beautiful work, Iris. It's been fascinating seeing how your design developed. I'd love to try this one -- perhaps as two single pieces wrapped around a Christmas ornament.

I love it. I've been messing around with hexagons as well, but never really thought of laying them out in a rectangular pattern. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!
