Dear Jane Eborall, do you think this would match with your orange dress? (I'm sure she has one, perhaps not unicolour, thinking about her love for colours)
The orange is a bit pale, because the darker orange did not fit with the blue. Matching two colours of thread and adding even two colours of beads is very difficult. You look at the colours, you put the thread balls one over the other, and they seem to fit nice, you choose the beads, and they seem to fit nicely, you work them all together and then you through the piece away with disgust!
Oh, Iris, IF I owned a dress then the necklace would go well with it. I've got an orange tshirt, though!!! What you say about colours and matching everything up is SOOOOO true. Time and time again it happens to me too. What looks good on the ball and shuttle sometimes doesn't go well when they're tatted. SUCH a pretty, pretty design.
ReplyDeleteJane doesn't have an orange dress, but I do!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a lovely necklace and so are the others you have made
It's beautiful -- I don't own anything orange or I'd fight Jane for it! ;) This is a wonderful necklace pattern is it new, or does it just look new because of the different colors?
ReplyDeleteYour necklace looks wonderful!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern, might go with my new top which is peach.

This is to say that I LOOOOVE this necklace (and this from a girl who does not like orange). But this necklace is beautifuuuuuul!
ReplyDelete.
Oh you don't have to own orange to wear this necklace, brown is very nice and the blue as well! looks like a tricky pattern to do and you did well!
ReplyDeleteNice work from Carollyn :)
